The school have two water butts and a large pig composter. A water butt allows for the collection of rainwater from your roof and downpipes. The rainwater can then be used for watering plants in your garden.
The “Big Pig” Best Composter is a unique digester that will recycle household food waste and garden waste of up to 2.5kgs daily (5.5 lbs). The “Big Pig” digester is like a large mechanical stomach that literally digests the organic matter you feed it. The Big Pig digester is based on a rotating system.
We also hope to plant raised beds and need help making the beds.
