Mission Statement

Glenbrohane N.S. aims at promoting the full and harmonious development of all aspects of the person, if its pupils – intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual, including a living relationship with God and with other people. Our school models and promotes a philosophy of life, inspired by belief in God and in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We take cognisance of religious and cultural diversity. Our Catholic school provides Religious Education for the pupils in accordance with the doctrines, practises, and tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and promotes the formation of the pupils, in the Catholic Faith.

Introduction

Our school plan is developing with the support of all the partners in the educational system: staff of the school, the parents and the Board of Management. Sections of the school plan are prepared by each of the partners and most is a collaborative effort. The whole plan is therefore acceptable to all. In developing the plan care is taken to note the true concerns and expectations of the Department of Education and Science and our patron, Archbishop, of Cashel and Emly.

Glenbrohane N.S. is a rural based school.  Our school is co-educational.  It promotes the Catholic ethos but also takes cognisance of religious and cultural diversity.  The ethos of Glenbrohane N.S. is expressed in our School philosophy.
